CASA Volunteers

screenshot CASA is the only volunteer organization that empowers everyday citizens as officers of the court. In an overburdened social welfare system, abused and neglected children often slip through the cracks among hundreds of current cases. CASA volunteers change that. Appointed by judges, CASA volunteers typically handle just one case at a time—and commit to staying on that case until the child is placed in a safe, permanent home. Read more...

Special Holiday Thank You!

I am writing to thank all the students, staff and administration from the Beaver Area Junior/Senior High School for making this year's TLC CASA Christmas GIft Drive such a huge success! The TLC students under the direction of Ms. Sarah Sams, collected gifts for all of our CASA children, and then some! Their generosity was overwhelming!

In addition, The R.O.C. Youth Group from Four Mile Church, under the direction of Ms. Jen Miller, stuffed stockings for all our our CASA children, again this year! They collected so many gifts, the stockings were overflowing! It was unbelievable!

Together, these two organizations have given our CASA children the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER! It was absolutely heartwarming! The CASA Advocates were all smiles as they delivered the gifts to all the children knowing the happiness it would bring to these abused and neglected children during such a difficult time in their lives.

It is truly a blessing to see all these young students and their families giving back to their community and helping so many others in need! Thank you for making this holiday one to remember for all of us here at CASA!

Happy Holidays!

Heather K. Yates, Executive Director
